Ending Seed Inventory

Over 15 different volunteers helped collect seed within LCWP this season; many are also Nursery volunteers; pictured is David and Sarah. Seed collecting is sweaty, tick infested, and hard work. We collected over 10 pounds, enough to easily do 1.2 acres. We’ll use this seed to restore plots and complement plantings. Much of our seed collection is focused on California Native “weedy” types: Deer Weed, Tar Weed, Golden Bush. See slideshow for more pictures. (Click any pic to enlarge)
